November 3rd – This afternoon we did a pilot resonance repatterning session for Nun/Monk Karmic release http://aweber.com/b/1t-lI . It is certainly a topic that spoke to quite a large group. My thanks to all who participated. The recording will come soon so you can listen to it again or retro-intend if you missed it altogether. Your feedback is appreciated as we continue to develop the repatterning. The feedback at the end of the call was certainly awesome.
Later that day….
Here is the the audio link and mp3 if you missed the session.
Just a few notes to give a context to everyone’s comments, many of the vows taken in past life roles such as being a nun, monk, martyr, servant, or starving artist, etc, were taken in an expanded enlightened state of consciousness before God or source depending on your spiritual view point. While the vows perhaps fit the evolved state of consciousness for that lifetime, in this lifetime, they may well hold us back from living an abundant life of purpose and happiness. But a vow is a vow, frequently accompanied by an oath of maintaining the vow even in death and beyond. So where does that vow of poverty, celibacy, martyrdom, renunciation get us today?
In centuries gone by I can well understand how these type of vows were the only options that could be understood by someone following a spiritual path seeking enlightenment. It would take a lifetime of meditation and prayer or contemplation to understand what it meant to reach a state of self or God realization, or non dual state of awareness. The mental neuronet just wasn’t there for most of the populations and for even most of the enlightened leaders of the times. The simple answer was vows such as renunciation of all worldly goods and to embrace poverty.
To update our inherited or past life karma residing as invisible viruses in our unconscious awareness is necessary in the context of the current times. I see the ultimate evolution of a spiritual path as one where we are ‘over our ego’ , being in the present moment free of unclaimed baggage and an exalted state of oneness and awareness of our place in the universe. In that state of spiritual enlightenment, we are detached from worldly goods, ego driven concerns and the trappings of having more stuff. But unlike the past life experience we can be in this exalted state and ‘be the change’. We apparently have the mental gears to get there at this point in our evolution, but few of us may do much about it. I think its because past vows are getting in our way of being effective spiritual beings. It’s hard to lead a cause to save the planet if our vow of poverty won’t support us with paying the costs of a public awareness campaign. Spirit is not too concerned with paying our bills. Floating between a worldly state and spiritually enlightened state effectively, (in my opinion) requires that we recognize the abundance of the universe within ourselves.
Our repatterning released the vows that no longer serve us and updates us with vows or newer versions in keeping with our evolutionary path of enlightenment.
What are your views on karmic vows?
Participants,…did you feel that shift? Comments welcomed! How did you like the scribbling exercise?
Much appreciation for everyone’s involvement and to my colleague Gail Glanville who initiated the collaboration.
With love and light,
Carolyn
Carolyn and fellow creators of this new repatterning – Thank You.
I am in awe of the new possibilities arising from this. I can feel energy swirling and shifting as I type.
My inner self seems to be rethinking many aspects of my life and while there is a very minor unsettled feeling, I am 100% confident it is for the good. My intention is I am stepping out of my comfort zone to experience what it is I have been aiming for…
I particularly liked the modality. If it is possible to have the introduction in a PDF that would be very helpful. I am a visual learner and love to see and re-read things. There was so much information in the introduction that to be able to absorb and process it at my leisure would be a real treat.
Bless you all for such forward thinking to eradicate the vows of our past lives.
With love and appreciation, Sonja
What a fabulous repatterning the NunMonk Repatterning is. While I have cleared past lives with other systems, I found that I still resonate with them!
An issue that needed to clear for me was ‘If i do what I want I am bad’. Yuck! I am sooo pleased to say this statement is cleared for me from the repatterning…there is no longer a charge with it.
I love the statements and the ‘roles’ we all could have been in past lives (I believe I have been every one of them) but one statement in particular that came up from the group that we needed to clear resonance with ‘I enjoy poverty’! So glad this shifted…I think it did as soon as I heard that.
ANd the releasing statements from all levels of our beings are wonderful.
I hope you publish the repatterning as I would love to use this in my practice!
Much love and joy and abundance to Carolyn for facilitating this and to the authors of this work!

Thanks so much Karen – and for bringing your tribe!
The roles surprised me as well as I assumed we were all members of a convent or monastery. No matter what role its great to release the vow of poverty.
I very much appreciated the repatterning. I would love to be able to use it in my practice. Having worked for years on the religious non-coherences from this life time, it makes much sense to see how this has been carried through from past lives. Very freeing to know there is a tool to be able to clear this stuff out. I especially loved the Modality. I have cleared (I think) lots of the poverty issues, but felt a “vibe” for several of the statements and love to be able to clear even more.
Made me think as well as other vows – marriage, political office, etc. and how those may resonate negatively for some in this lifetime.
I look forward to the entire repatterning and thank you all so much for this very healing piece of work.
Thank you Carolyn for the wonderful repatterning. I was pretty much “out of it” for most of the session, but did wake up for the modality, and did the two free-style drawings. For the 2nd one, “new vows that I now adopt” the picture that emerged was of a soup ladle, and I was quite surprised to see it on my paper. The associations I had were of being able to feed and nourish myself, and also, of having the capacity to give nourishment to others, (perhaps through my work.) As the ’struggling artist’ theme is one that has resonated very strongly with me all my life, I felt very excited by the new possibilities that this image represented to me. Thanks again for a very powerful repatterning.

Hi Carolyn,
What a wonderful experience. Like Karen, I was fascinated by the different roles that came up. I’ve always been drawn to the stories of prostitutes … I won a major award one year for a series I produced on prostitution. And at one point I had not one, but two housemates who had worked as prostitutes in the past .. by which I mean 20 years ago — in other words, in this lifetime.
I’ve been in a really dreadful situation with respect to a relationship and yesterday (two days after the nun karma release) I was cycling home and suddenly realized I no longer felt shame. I could remember that I had felt deep shame just the day before, but it seemed that last night I simply was unable to experience the feeling. And this morning I woke up feeling utterly happy. Free of some torment which perhaps wasn’t only of my own making.
It was also the same day, Carolyn, that you were doing relationship repatterning in MPMP. So it appears I got the full nine yards.

Dear Carolyn and others who developed this repatterning,
What a wonderful gift you have given the world in developing yet another amazing tool in the RR tool box. On the date and time of the live repatterning, I confused the time and missed it, and now have taken almost a week to listen to the entire recording and I would say because the process was so profound for me that I needed to go slowly. I grew up in Catholic schools and initially wanted to be a nun, then transferred my energies in a negative direction, so I would say this was channeled for me! I feel much lighter and very positive after a few months of feeling lost and not able to see the possibilities around me. Thanks you so much for your work and for sharing it so freely with the world!
