Can our thoughts really change our outward reality? Can we really just intend away some of the harsh realities of our existence? One of my favorite books iluuminating my interior world and that gives me hope for the future is “The Intention Experiment” by Lynne McTaggart. Actually, anything written by Lynne McTaggart is on my favorites list as she is first and foremost a professional journalist who goes after the facts, and in a logical step by step analysis of those facts brings me to the place I started out based on faith and intuition. The science and probablity of intentions that Lynne writes about has now been part of the inspiration and muse in Dan Brown’s latest book The Lost Symbol.
The idea that our thoughts can change our lives has always held promise for me that things beyond my control are very much within my abilities to change. When outward action doesn’t seem to do it – like hopelessly complaining to Bell Canada, I think well – perhaps I can change things with my thoughts. While I am still trying to work this magic on Bell Canada (unreasonably hoping that they have the capacity to serve customers and carriers with integrity), I experienced far more instantaneous relief with yesterday’s World Peace Hologram resonance repatterning session with Ardis Ozborn. In a 1 hour telecall session we repatterned the vast deep topic of Eradicating Child Poverty.
Operating on the principle that the sum is contained in all of the parts, The World Peace Hologram sessions aim at repatterning topics that simoutaneously address our local personal issues that are also frequency patterns playing out on a larger stage of the world and contribute to peace. Peace inside and out is one of the mantras. Over 1000 participants are included energetically in the session with a handful taking the time to submit their issues and intentions for repatterning. My role in this event was to stand in as the proxy for the group giving a voice to the various patterns that practitioner and veteran teacher Ardis Ozborn surfaced throughout the session. She set the stage with an overview of the vastness of child poverty and the tradegy that there are more than enough resources world wide to prevent this. Every day children’s lives are slipping away without a murrmur due to our collective resonace of despair feeding the bigger pattern of blocked distribution.
Typical of the subtle energy nature of resonance repatterning, during the session, I could physically feel the weight of despair, from our collective involvement in the topic and went through many waves of emotions. Equally powerful was the sensation of shifting to higher ground, and a sense that no matter how vast the topic, my going forward with just one small positive action in my world will contribute to a wave of shifts – an expanded world hologram of peace where child poverty is eradicated. I feel more hopeful and optimistic about taking any action and thank Ardis Ozborn for the privilege of serving as proxy in the session.
The session is recorded and posted along with detailed session notes, and a place to retro-intend your particiaption (read The Intention Experiment to understand that concept) in a session that happened yesterday. If you are signed up here is the direct link http://worldpeacehologram.org/Program/Notes2009/October.asp
If not, just get a u/p – its really easy.
Did the session make a difference? Is there a little less child poverty in the world today? I am sure that until The Intention Experiments gains further recognition and reaches deeper, journalists will not be picking up this story. The answer is in my awareness, the news that I am noticing, tweeting, and paying attention to. Today, I am reading the twitter feed, and newspapers looking for the signs that something has changed. Perhaps even Bell Canada will do the right thing in my world today. I will let you know!
In the meantime, I invite you to tune in, and join a coherent wave for world peace. It may be the one thing that changes your day and in doing so saves one child’s life from the despair of poverty.
With light and love
Carolyn Winter
