One way to support your intention to make healthy food choices is to create some routines that support this. Here are 3 ideas…
1. Plan ahead and stock your pantry with summer food choices that are healthy and easy to reach for. Have colorful fruits and vegetable snacks on hand. Also take advantage of the cycles of nature and use food that is in season and grown locally.
2. We are all creatures of habit and we do like things to be fast and easy. Find some recipes for summer one dish meals that are quick and easy to make and you like them a lot. Be sure you always stock the ingredients in your pantry.
3. Get creative and make your own cookbook of simple recipes to make in 30 minutes or less. You may find good inspiration at MarthaStewart.com, Gourmet.com or other recipe sites.
